As your loved ones in need gain age, they may lose interest in food. Mealtime without a family is usually lonely. If your parent has a reduced sense of taste or smell, food may seem less appetizing. Infant Care Specialists assist parents within the first few weeks or months of baby's life with parent education, feeding/breastfeeding, basic baby care and light baby-related housekeeping. An infant Care Specialist is an individual trained and skilled in newborn care. The caregiver provides unique expertise in all aspects of newborn care, parental education and support. It is important to note that an Infant Care Specialist is not a Nanny and requires a special training and education.
